At French Toast, not only do we pride ourselves on making quality school uniforms that lets students look, feel, and be their best selves in class and beyond, but we’re committed to empowering those very same students to become the next generation of leaders, problem-solvers, and creatives.

High school seniors enrolled at a French Toast-affiliated schools have the opportunity to apply for the Shine Award Scholarship, administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships.

In 2023, ten students received $2,000 each to help offset the cost of their college education. It’s one of the many ways that French Toast gives back to the communities and students we serve. Education is the foundation for the future, and when we see kids striving to go as far as their talent and determination will take them, we can’t help but cheer them on.

Meet the Class of 2023

The recipients of this year’s Shine Awards shined on the stage, the tennis court, and on the math team. They involved themselves in student leadership groups and national scholastic organizations. On top of everything else, they worked part-time jobs and volunteered their time and know-how to help others learn. There are so many different ways to shine, and each of these students did so in a way totally unique to them.

Without further ado, here are the recipients of our 2023 French Toast Shine Award Scholarship. Congratulations all around!
